At a NZPT meeting a discussion on our priorities occurred.

What a start to the year

ACC released its allied health pricing strategy to Physiotherapy New Zealand.

The NZPT Limited now has enough paying members that we are in the black.

We have applied to ACC to be included as an entity that physiotherapists can belong to and still be under various ACC contracts, such as the ACC physiotherapy Contract.

The Goddard report from 2007 still applies and the recommendations should be implemented. It is an interesting read.

The attached are draft submissions from NZPT Ltd to MBIE for proposed increased payments to physiotherapists for regulated treatment. Final submissions to follow. Please provide any input, backed up by evidence, to the contacts page.
